Victorian style and memorabilia, the Nob Hill Hotel is located five blocks from Union Square and the theater district, and one mile from the North Beach neighborhood's Italian cafés. The hotel lobby features beautifully restored marble floors, alabaster chandeliers, stained glass panels, a grand statuary and an extensive collection of period paintings and antiques. There is also an English-style garden with a marble patio out back of the hotel. The hotel's Italian restaurant, a popular neighborhood spot, seats only 35 in its country-cottage-style dining room, where a complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily.

This hotel only offers 54 rooms on six floors, and guest room access is via an antique, brass-fronted elevator with hand-painted interior, or via carpeted staircase. Each guest room is beautifully appointed with oversized comforters, silk bed scarves, antique furnishings, stained glass lamps and hand painted walls. These rooms vary in size and they are all individually decorated, and feature a replica iron bead with half canopy, or beds with wood headboards - both styles dressed in velvet and satin comforters.
