London—Welcome: Arrive at Euston Station
at 6:30 AM and meet our tour representative at
the ticket office. Your train departs at 7:00 AM
arriving Liverpool Lime street station at 9:50
AM.
Liverpool: Before
taking the Magical Mystery tour, Liverpool is
yours to explore. We recommend you make your way
to Mathew Street and visit the Beatles Shop and
Mathew Street Gallery. The Cavern Walks shopping
centre houses the Beatles Statue. The Cavern Pub
(almost directly opposite the Cavern Club) opens
at 11:00 AM and contains memorabilia relating to
the Beatles.
Leaving Mathew Street
turning left along North John Street make your
way to the Albert Dock (10-minute stroll) which
contains a complex of Museums and galleries
together with Bars and restaurants. The Museum of
Liverpool life contains a MerseyBeat exhibition
and the Customs and Excise Museum contains a
Beatles Gold disc. The Tate Gallery is also
situated at the Dock.
Beatles Story:
The main point of interest at the Dock is
obviously your visit to the Beatles Story
exhibition, which shows the lives and times of
John, Paul, George and Ringo from the early days
in Hamburg, to the Cavern, Beatlemania and flower
power, the break-up and their solo careers.
Beatles Magical
Mystery Tour: In the afternoon, embark on the
Beatles Magical Mystery Tour! It departs at 2:30
PM from the Beatles Story Exhibition at the
Albert Dock and finishes two hours later at the
world famous Cavern Club (admission included)!
The tour is presented by
an expert guide on a vintage 1960s coach
identical to the Coach used in the 1967 film
Magical Mystery Tour. During the two hours the
tour visits over 30 sites which includes (former)
Beatles homes, schools, birthplaces, Penny Lane,
Strawberry Field and many other interesting
sites. Photo stops and restroom breaks are
included and our drivers are always happy to make
courtesy tops as needed.
Return Journey:
The train departs at 5:45 PM and arrives in
London at 8:40 PM.
